Special Needs Family Coordinator

Kimberley joined DVB Financial to follow her passion of serving the special needs community. Her role, Special Needs Family Coordinator, places her directly in the center of that universe. Kimberley developed, launched, and oversees the DVB Independence & Beyond initiative which provides comprehensive financial and life planning to families with special needs. She understands that each family’s situation is unique and often complex. Her days are spent in meetings alongside the family and other care providers, researching and connecting families with available resources, and engaging in the community to expand her knowledge and network.

Prior to joining DVB Financial, Kimberley was a special educator working directly with the children she continues to serve today. This experience was invaluable in her journey, allowing her to understand the educational benefits and different paths each family can pursue. While completing her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education & Special Education at University of East Stroudsburg, Kimberley served as a mentor in the Career, Independent Living, and Learning Studies (CILLS) program which allows people with disabilities to experience college independence. Kimberley mentored participants in budgeting, schoolwork, and lifestyle activities like cooking.

Kimberley, a local of the Harrisburg area, and her husband, Stan, love exploring surrounding areas for cafes and new restaurants. They also enjoy spending time with their extended family, whether locally or on trips together to Nashville (a family favorite).
